The NASSP Policy & Advocacy Center
NASSP has established a site on their website to assist members in learning about important legislation affecting education. The site is titled Principals Legislative Action Center or PLAC.
This site will also enable you to find information on all National Elected officials, including Senators and Representatives form Utah, and all National Standing Committee members. You will also be able to access information on our own State Senators and State Representatives as well as State Standing Committee members. Contact information is available with suggested format for contacting by fax, e-mail, letters etc.
This site also has a list of Utah Media Resources and the contact information for each.
As the leader in your school you can now be better informed and you can let our elected officials know of your concerns and needs in doing a very difficult and challenging job. Your input is valued because you are on the firing line and you do make a difference.
